January 2008, Orbitsound makes waves at CES show, Las Vegas

Orbitsound makes waves at the world's largest consumer electronics show this month. The show was incredibly well attended, and the buzz around the Orbitsound range was tremendous as people heard for the first time airSOUND stereo.

T3 - release date, July 2008

The T3 final prototype was very well received sporting its new sleeker design; following feedback from the What HiFi show in London. It is also louder with a more efficient speaker. Conceptually, the T3 is set to be a hit with recreational runners, gym users and music sharers. It was also a welcome enhancement to hotel room dvd viewing!

T6 - release date, April 2008

The T6 demonstrated beautifully at the show, being loud and full sounding with airsound stereo impressing all listeners. At the price point, the valve pre amplifiers was not believed to be real by some people, but they are; making the T6 an awesome listening station for music lovers.

T12 - release date April 2008

'Sound bars' are a real fad at the moment, particularly at the CES show. People are demanding units that produce surround like effects from a single enclosure. However, many of the solutions at the show are expensive and involve multiple speakers, delays and directional arrays. Next to these, the T12 sounded rich and full. The stereo sound field from the T12 was the most impressive; allowing the listener to move around and obtain the same rich stereo image without compromise. The T12 is the most imminent Orbitsound product to hit the market and with it's sleek design and beautiful sound, looks set to be a real alternative to a stereo setup in any living room.

December 2007, Orbitsound prototypes previewed...

Previewed to the crowds at the London Novotel in November 2007 at the What Hi Fi show were prototypes of the orbitsound personal stereo aura™ portable speaker.

'Superb' Crowd reaction

The units showed were pre-production prototypes that demonstrated the unique stereo effect that become amplified when the speaker is worn. The volunteers who visited the stand were then asked questions on the experience, quality of the sound effect and some other details.

The response was overwhelming and news of the ground breaking demo spread; quickly making the Orbitsound one of the most talked about products of the show!

Production launch

Following the positive feedback from this show and other private tests and demos, Orbitsound will be making swift progress towards a production version of the orbitsound personal speaker to be announced soon.
