Valves and Tubes
Valves once ruled the world but have largely been replaced by miniature transistors for their size and cost advantages. Valves however are being rediscovered by audio enthusiasts everywhere for their purity and sonic excellence. In the digital age, music recordings are clear and bright, but have lost much of the 'warmth' often associated with the classic recordings of yesteryear. This is especially true with recent use of MP3, MP4 and other 'lossy' formats. 'Warmth' can be put back into modern recordings to great effect with no loss in quality by using a classic pre amplifier to re-energise the sound. The T6 does just that, using 2 classic dual triode valve stages to inject warm fat loveliness into your music, letting you hear it as never before. The 'tubedock' can also be used in conjunction with other sound sources and amplified music systems, allowing the valve advantage to be used with other equipment.
